I thought they ran from somebody's home or something? They had a series on
last night that I remember from my childhood days, called Human Jungle.
Really strange to hear it after so long.

Nothing so exotic as a home. The comments usually refer to a garden
shed! Well, that's being unkind. It's a family business run by a few
enthusiasts. There's a lot more information on the wiki page at
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talking_Pictures_TV>.

It has the classic series from the 60s, 70s, and 80s like "Rumpole of
the Bailey" and "Public Eye".

It seems to be working well now:

Not sure I'd say "well". It has a big bucketful of bitmap images. A simple
text list with smaller images would be easier and quicker to use.

But the content is interesting. In the past I've found a number of old
films from TPTV worth a watch.

Yes agree always worth keeping an eye on - no game shows or 'Reality'
crap.
I find it very easy to slip back into B&W or 4:3 mode when needed! C+
