OT: Russian war crimes in Ukraine; anyone here who works or has contacts in mainstream media, please alert them to this

Russian drone operators across the Dnieper are using the city of Kherson
as a training shooting range to hunt and kill civilians in the city,
which they then post on Russian social media in an apparent boast of
their 'accomplishments'. The victims are just ordinary civilians going
about their daily lives - an old woman doing her weekly grocery shop,
cyclists, teens in the street. Sickly, this has been called "The Human
Safari".

Russian soldiers are also executing Ukrainian soldiers who have surrendered.

Both of these are undoubtedly war crimes, yet main stream media remain
largely silent about them, at least as far as I have seen. If you have
contacts with anyone in main stream media, particularly anyone in a news
desk, please bring these war crimes to their attention.

If other uk media are not, they are presumably choosing not to, rather
than unaware of it?

That's something, but not quite the same level as the main evening news
on TV though, is it? I can see a problem for TV news, in that they
won't be able to show graphic and horrific detail, but they should still
cover such an important story.

What's your opinion of https://ground.news that does aid in finding
media blind spots?

For those who may not be aware of it, Ground News logs and links a broad
spectrum of sources of coverage of news items, and, for each news
source, gives a rating of its factual content and reliability, whether
its general tendency is left, right, or central, and who owns it.

I see it advertised frequently as sponsors of some Ukraine war YouTube
Channels that I watch, particularly Denys Davydov, and it seems to be a
well-regarded source, however, as personally so far I've not felt a need
to use it partly because I believe it is subscription based, I'm
probably not the best person to ask about it, and, like you, I'd be
interested to hear the opinions of others.

Could have sworn I wrote a reply this morning, but can find no evidence
of it, either in the thread or my sent folder, so at the risk of
repeating myself, that's a good piece of work by the BBC. Wish I could
think of a viable answer to the actual problem though.
